Welcome to Michael Pugh Pottery!
We are a group of people who have been living and working together on an old farm in the Buderim rainforest escarpment, for the last thirty - six years. Buderim is a volcanic mountain approximately ten kilometers from the Pacific Ocean.
The coastal enviroment and the rich variety of plant and animal life have inspired the creation of a ceramic studio producing work in harmony with the beauty and diversity of a sub-tropical world.
We would like to acknowledge the indigenous people of this land whose spirit we feel every day. We would also like to pay homage to all the myriad people of this planet whose tradition we connect with.
